You came to us in late October 2006 after living on the streets for about six months. Within two weeks of coming to us, you had all rodents terrified of coming into our house after you killed one. You were at heart a warrior even though you had not been outside of the house for months before your death. You always were very affectionate with ChiChi and her kittens (Athena, Cassiopeia, Serina and Sheba). You showed how affectionate and protective you were of your nieces when you somehow noticed that Athena had slipped outside at night and there was danger in the neighborhood. You fought that danger (not sure of what it was because the known dogs in the neighborhood had never attacked the cats in the neighborhood, could it have been a coyote or a wolf?!) until I got outside and scared the danger off. Even though mortally wounded, you alerted me to Athena’s being outside, where she was and to check and to put her inside before going back to you to comfort you on your journey. Just in case you did not hear me on your way to the Rainbow Bridge, you always were a good cat and thank you for saving Athena. I just wish we could have saved you as well as I feel you could have had many more years ahead of you.
Go with Godspeed to meet your brothers and sisters and nephew who preceded you to the Rainbow Bridge (Snow White, Midnight, Midnight Too, Red and Snowball (Snowball being your nephew).
